Fratelli Rossi Fu Cesare was founded in the early 1900s by the will of the founder Cesare Rossi and his large family of six brothers. Since its origins, the company has been dedicated to mechanical processing in support of agriculture. In the 1960s the company gradually transitioned to the supply of molds for the nascent ceramic industry that was taking root in the Sassuolo area.
The knowledge of materials, the availability of machinery, the experience in mechanical processing allows the company to achieve records in its sector. Having started the new business with the supply of mosaic moulds, the company follows the entire evolution of the formats from tile sizes 15 x 15 cm to 20 x 20 cm to 30 x 30 cm to 40 x 40 cm and 60 x 60 cm and up to the mold largest built at 130 x 130 cm.
The experience and quality of its supplies allow F.li Rossi to become a privileged supplier of the most important suppliers of ceramic systems abroad. This activity introduced F.lli Rossi to many nascent ceramic companies abroad in the 70s and 80s and therefore allowed the company to export to all areas of the world.
Alongside traditional moulds, the company has developed the research and development of moulds to produce special pieces particularly in demand abroad such as step-tiles, bull noses, cove bases, as well as shaped moulds of all shapes and sizes with relief now achievable with the introduction of the polyurethane coating on the punches.
Among the records of F.lli Rossi was the introduction in the 80s of Urepan 600 Polyurethane on punches which allowed the development of many numerous applications. To have a presence in all areas of the world of highly advanced ceramics, the company has developed Rossi F.lli Trading as a service which supports not only the supply of moulds but also the materials and tools necessary for its foreign customers for the maintenance of their moulds.
