The ROSSI CIPA 03.5 isostatic punch represents the ideal solution and the most advanced system for optimizing the pressing of any type of dough.

Its specific operating characteristics make it possible to compensate for the uneven loading of the dough inside the alveolus and the differences in density that the dough itself presents.

The CIPA 03.5 isostatic punch is based on Pascal’s principle applied to an incompressible fluid; thanks to the oil contained within it and the channeling system built into it, it is able to distribute the specific pressure uniformly over the entire surface of the tile, thus ensuring a constant dough density after pressing.

Within the isostatic punch there are an appropriately chosen number of cavities occupied by oil and communicating with each other, each of which is bounded along one side by a wall of elastic material; during pressing the oil moves in such a way as to compensate for the deformations imposed by the mixture on the surface of the rubber.

The CIPA 03.5 punch provides excellent compensation and is also equipped with an internal end-stop function that ensures that the tile rests only at the masonry lines, in accordance with our ROSSI RE 94U000051 patent.

The isostatic punch CIPA 03.5 brings an increase in tile quality that is all the more appreciable the higher the shrinkage of the mixture used and is particularly appreciated in case of problems of squaring and sizing, since interconnection between several pads is possible.

The latter feature allows the punch to be used in the same way as a traditional type, even in case of oil leakage due to damage caused by incorrect use of the pad.

The CIPA 03.5 isostatic pad brings an increase in tile quality that is all the more appreciable the higher the shrinkage of the mixture used, and is particularly appreciated in the case of squareness and gauge problems, since interconnection between several pads is possible.

The operating oil pressure for the ROSSI CIPA 03.5 isostatic pads is 3 to 8 bar.
