Mirror moulds
With this type of mould the tile is formed with "good-face" up, by means of mould-frame movement operated by upper mirror punches or pushers connected to the crossbeam. This mould is more expensive than entering punches mould, but it grants high duration performaces because preferably it's equipped with punches realized with crushproof hardened steel. Its own limitation is absence of spacer border in the tile and this substantially reduces its usage.
An evolution of miror mould is the reverse mirror mould that has the "good-face" punches mounted in the lower part of the mould and allows to form the tile with spacer border.
